I had an issue with excessive sound delay when connected via bluetooth so had to return for refund, but that aside, here are some observations made based on the time I spent with it. The sound bar and sub feel solid, well-constucted and nice to look at. The sound quality was clear in standard mode, but lacking bass in many of the other modes. When connected to a Samsung Q-80T TV in Game Mode the sound bar always reverts to the Game Pro profile setting every time the TV input was changed or when the TV was turned on. This becomes frustrating as the graphic equaliser settings are discarded when not using Standard mode.
The lack of customisation for the other profiles was disappointing as while some showed potential they could have benefitting significantly from some manual tweaks. The display can only display 4 characters and had a tendency to disappear quickly. There is no permanent display showing whether the sound bar is on or off so it was easy to accidentally leave it on by mistake. It was a little bit of a shame it didn't have USB playback also, but this becoming less common on modern soundbars. I recently purchased this sound bar to go with a new 2020 Samsung tv, and have been really disappointed. Compared to my previous experience on a much older Sony product this is a massive downgrade in terms of reliability, sound and usability.
Considering the brand and price point I'm pretty fed up. Got this first week of december, according to my serial number it somehow is out of warranty oct 31st despite not even having it a year yet. I have a new samsung tv that i bought at the same time as this, a new 2020 tv as well. Had nothing but problems with the volume with this soundbar never being able to connect directly with the tv so it operated on bluetooth only.
Thats right, directly plugging in never worked properly despite both being samsung products. Less then i year later and the thing finally is completly broken. It won't connect to any devices now as the bluetooth no longer functions. I tested it on several devices that can connect with bluetooth and it completly doesnt work anymore. Don't do it...save yourself the time of having to return it.
I purchased the hw-q70t 3.1.2 soundbar with wireless subwoofer on 10/30 and returned it on 11/1. The setup was easy and the sound was decent but to me the price didn't meet the performance. The subwoofer was incredibly weak.
My alexa echo has more bass. The volume on the subwoofer it too low and you have to turn up the entire unit to get the bass performance. So many things about this device is frustrating but the number one issue is the connectivity. It disconnects randomly whether you connect with hdmi or bluetooth. You can always return it but you can't return your time spent fooling with it.
I get a audio delay on almost everything i try to watch, netflix, hulu, xfinity?? I have tried the optical, hdmi, and bluetooth. Tried to adjust the delay on the tv qn55q7cnafxza, on the sound bar??? Tried to use apps through the tv, xfinity box..
I am ready to throw this in the trash... Purchased the q70t sound bar after my old t450 stopped working. Really disappointed with the q70t against the older, cheaper t450. Dolby atmos effect non existent, even though it reads Dolby atmos on the digital display on the front of the soundbar.

This soundbar (s/b) looks good with samsung tvs, but that is about all i have good to say. If the subwoofer is close, you can eliminate its connectivity issues.
I definitely should have read the specs more carefully. This model was not compatible with any of my devices. The bluetooth wouldnt connect to my roku tv, fire tv, alexa, or even my samsung phone. After a week of frustration, i found the list of devices that are compatible to add to a smart home or other devices, this system is not one.
We were able to connect to a tv through hdmi. Heavy bass, which we liked. It would work well for someone not looking for smart technology. I am happy with the sound of the sound bar. However, i am extremely disappointed that it will not connect to the smartthings app and therefore is unable to connect to alexa. This is highly disappointing.
I have had this confirmed by samsung after multiple attempts to connect. Either it randomly flutters, produces exactly zero sound, or pops continuously. Documentation is difficult to find, though i was eventually able to update the firmware, it had zero impact, in fact the sub failures just got worse. The best i can say about the product is its design is very aesthetically pleasing, and it feels sturdy. It just doesn't work well. Definitely overpriced for a product that doesn't consistently work.

The sound is amazing when it is working, but i have to be careful that the soundbar doesn't turn off automatically while the tv is still on or else the problems will start up again. Even young kids will appreciate the humor inherent in this fish-out-of-water tale, although some might be upset that Buddy's mother died and that his father never knew about him. The few action sequences aren't really threatening, and no one is injured. But the movie's overall message of the value derived from honesty, acceptance, and affection for all humanity is clear and positive. Under the CCPA law you have the right to protect your personal information. Make a Do Not Sell request to ELF.

If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices. Clear and easy to hear vocals at any volume and i can adjust how loud i hear the other sounds. The 6 series i can hear the "other sounds" amazingly.
